Brief
Gelatoville Branding & Launch
We were tasked with creating the brand identity for Gelatoville, a new gelato shop in the East Village, NYC. This project was an opportunity to define the look and feel of what has now become a multi-location gelateria. Our goal was to craft a sophisticated yet approachable brand that would resonate with both locals and tourists, positioning Gelatoville as the go-to destination for authentic Italian gelato.
Key Challenge:
Operating under a tight budget and an urgent timeline, we had to ensure that the branding was executed flawlessly before the shop’s opening. Despite these constraints, we delivered exceptional results within the required timeframe.
Strategic Vision:
Focused on elegance and simplicity, we leveraged classic design elements to convey the authenticity of Italian gelato while incorporating modern touches to appeal to a contemporary audience. A distinctive lowercase serif ‘G’ became the cornerstone of the brand identity, paired with a bright, muted color palette and polka dot design elements.
Results
Business Impact:
The cohesive brand identity and scalable strategy we developed for Gelatoville significantly boosted its market presence. The shop quickly became a high-end gelato destination, already opening a second location just one year later. Our branding efforts ensured Gelatoville NYC could stand on its own, enhancing the brand’s long-term growth potential.
